College Connects does not share or sell information to outside businesses, organizations, persons, etc.

Share or Sell Information
College Connects does not share or sell information to outside businesses, organizations, persons, etc. All required information is used for internal purposed only. Our in-network members consist of Parent/Guardians, Student-Athletes, and College Coaches. All optional information is used “In Network” for exposure and college placement purposes. Account Holders (parent(s)/guardian(s)) and Students Users have full control of what information is shared.
Collection of Information
We receive and store information about you such as
- Information you provide to us: We collect information you provide to us which includes:

- your name, email address, address or postal code, payment method(s), telephone number, date of birth, and other personal for profile purposes.
- All information provide to us is provided voluntarily by the account holder(parent/guardian). This includes account holder and student user information.
- IP addresses are recorded during the registration process only, and used for internal demographic reporting only.
- Use of Collected Information:Accounts are intended to be shared by the Account Owner (Parent/Guardian) and Student User. The registration is intended to be fill out by the Account Owner who chooses the student user, email login, and password. All submitted information will be accessible as follows:

- All collected information will be accessible to certain College Connects staff for monitoring and integrity purposes. Information will not be change by College Connects staff, however accounts can be frozen or deactivated until any profile issues are resolved.
- Scholly Bound members have user profiles which are accessible (readable) to college coaches. College Coaches will see the exact information displayed in the “My Profile” tab of the Student User account.
- Information from other sources: We also obtain information from other sources. We protect this information according to the practices described in this Privacy Statement, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the information. These sources vary over time, but could include:
- College Connects may obtain information regarding sports exposure events, such as tournaments, showcases, etc.
- College Connects may obtain information regarding travel (hotel) deals.
- College Connect may obtain information from our payment vendor (Stripe) regarding missed payments, fraud, and overall billing status.
Billing Information: All billing information is stored through Stripe, which is a certified PCI (Payment Card Industry) level 1 provider. Level 1 is the most stringent level of certification available. Stripe keeps sensitive data safe, ensuring security for our business and our customers. Stripe makes it easy for platforms and marketplaces to manage their payments while staying compliant.
Disclosure of Information
Profile Information may be disclosed to In-Network College connects members which include Student Users, Account Holders, High School coaches, High School Admins, College Coaches, & College Admins. We may disclose your information for certain purposes and to in network College Connects members, as described below:
- College Coaches who are College Connects members may contact us directly for recruiting purposes, in which approved (“My Profile Tab”) Student User Profile information may be disclosed.
- Student Users who are College Connects members may contact us directly for college placement services, in which approved College Profile or College Team Profile (“My Profile Tab”) information may be disclosed.
Access to Account and Profiles:
Student Users will have access to login to their account utilizing an email and password set up by the account owner. Student Users can login at mycollegecnx.com or the College Connect Mobil App (starting in 2024).
College Coaches will have access to login to their account utilizing an email and password set up by the college team account holder. Users can login at collegecnx.com or the College Connect Mobil App (starting in 2024).
- “Remember me” function: For ease of access to your account, you can use the “Remember me on this device” function when you log in to the website, However, we highly recommend only using this feature on your personal devices. This function uses technology that enables us to provide direct account access and to help administer the College Connects service without requiring reentry of any password or other user identification when your browser revisits the service.
- Giving others access to your account: ***This is not permitted! *** If you share or otherwise allow others to have access to your account, they will be able to see and modify your personal information. In addition, they may use the “remember me” function which would save your login credentials on numerous devices. Again, this is not permitted!
- Protecting your account: If you feel your credentials may have been compromised, you can change your password utilizing the password re-set feature.
- Profiles: Profiles allow users to have a distinct, personalized College Connects experience, based on their level of membership. Please note that profile access is only intended for the Student User, Parent(s)/Guardian(s)) of the Student User, and the Account Owner. You should explain this to everyone with access to your account via login credentials. ***Protect your shared credentials***
- Student User Profile Transfers: When a Student User commits to a college, they will no longer require the College Connects service. You may cancel your subscription or continue the account with a new Student User. This avoids having to pay a new registration fee.
- Removing device access to your College Connects account: For your protection, account access will only be allowed on one device at a time. If you are logged out by force, you should immediately communicate with other admins who have account access, to see if an approved user logged in during your session. If you feel your account profile has been compromised, you should immediately re-set your password.
Personal Information We Collect
College Connects understands the importance of protecting personal information and will only use account information for College Connect services and internal purposes. During the registration, payment, and profile update processes, College Connects collects personal information. Registration and payment information are for College Connects internal purposes only and will NOT be shared or sold. User profiles which have voluntary information will ONLY be accessible to and shared with in-network members (College Coaches).
- Account Holder Information: Name and Email address are used to identify the person overseeing the Student User Account, responsible for billing/subscription, and who will be contacted by college coaches.
- Student User Information: Full Name, Date of Birth, and Email Address are used to identify the Student User, the student user account, and login credentials.
- IP Address: Is collected to determine your general geographic location (such as your city, state/province, and postal code);
- Address(optional): The address of the parent/guardian(s) is collected for the Student User profile which is visible to college coaches. This optional field will be visible to college coaches via the Student User Profile to in-network College Connects members (college coaches). The address filed may be used when a college coach wants to mail a prospective student athlete a letter. Some colleges also prefer to recruit in-state student athletes for various reasons, such as in-state tuition or financial aid advantages.
- Person Information Collect by Student Users (optional): Students can add references to Student User profile, which may include full name, title, email address, and phone number. Account holders and student users are required to get permission from individuals being listed as references and receive approval regarding the reference’s information shared in the Student User profile.
Your Information and Rights
You have access to your personal information; to correct or update out-of-date or inaccurate personal information we contain about you. You may also request that we update personal information that we contain about you.
When you visit the “My Profile” portion of our account, you have the ability to access and update a broad range of information about your account, including your contact information and other related information visible on your profile.
To view your personal information, simply log in and click on “My Profile”.

We may reject requests that are unreasonable or not required by law, including those that would be extremely impractical, could require disproportionate technical effort, or could expose us to operational risks such as enabling fraud.
Retention of information: We retain information for active College Connects members. If your account is frozen of placed on hold, your account information will be retained. When you cancel or discontinue your account, your information will be deleted from our database within a calendar month. We take reasonable measures to remove personal information in a secure manner when it is no longer required. Changes to This Privacy Statement
We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time in response to changing laws and requirements. We will provide notice of any such changes (including when they will take effect) in accordance with law. Your continued use of the Collects Connects service after any such updates take effect will constitute acknowledgement and (as applicable) acceptance of those changes. If you do not wish to acknowledge or accept any updates to this Privacy Statement, you may cancel your use of the College Connects service.
